grains and i want them to grow so i can give to my family some of them.another question if i use to much sugar with them will they die?or how much sugar for the kefir is good. thanx :)
with minerals and had been do really well. Somewhere I had read, that if you used filtered water that removed all your minerals that you should/could, add some eggshell, seems the grains had a need/requirement for calcium. Remembering this, I added just a half-shell to my quart batch and 'viola'
suddenly my grains are doubling in volume...amazing!
